Explore 1 Solution through a use case

Follow one borrower.See the system connect.

Instead of showing a list of software modules, this page follows a realistic example borrower from the first click through pricing, application, CRM, loan processing and pre-approval — so visitors can understand where each 1 Solution product fits.

This is one example workflow, not a required path for every borrower or brokerage.
Sarah's borrower journey

From first interaction to pre-approval.

Each stage introduces the product when it becomes useful. The visitor learns the system by watching the work move, rather than reading nine separate product descriptions.

01 · First interaction

Sarah first sees the MLO through a marketing campaign.

Sarah is not a borrower yet. She is simply scrolling online when she sees a homebuyer campaign from the MLO. The message catches her attention because she has been thinking about purchasing a home.

She taps the campaign's call to action. Instead of landing on a generic contact form, the campaign takes her directly to the MLO's Frontline E-Card, where she can learn who the MLO is, check mortgage options and decide what to do next.

  • Marketing creates the first touchpoint and reason to engage
  • The campaign can direct the prospect straight into Frontline
  • Sarah moves naturally from discovery into the MLO's borrower experience

Sarah lands on the MLO's E-Card.

After clicking the campaign, Sarah arrives in Frontline — a shareable Mini Website / E-Card that gives the MLO a professional borrower-facing profile.

The same link can be placed on a website, email signature, business card, social profile or open-house form. From there, Sarah can contact the MLO, get a quote or begin an application.

  • MLO profile, contact details and social links
  • Lead capture and borrower entry point
  • Quote and Apply Now actions in the same experience

She runs a scenario and checks rates.

Sarah enters her scenario in Frontline. The borrower-facing quote experience is connected to PPE, so pricing does not live in a separate manual workflow.

This is where the relationship between the products becomes clear: Frontline presents the experience; PPE powers the pricing behind it.

She likes the loan, but wants a better rate.

Sarah can save the scenario and set a Rate Alert for the target she wants. When the target is reached, both Sarah and the MLO can be notified.

Instead of losing the opportunity, the scenario stays connected to a future reason to re-engage.

02 · Application

Sarah clicks Apply Now.

The journey moves from Frontline into POS. Sarah creates her borrower account with basic information, verifies her email and opens the MLO's borrower portal.

The important part is continuity: the borrower moves forward without feeling like she has been dropped into a completely unrelated product.

One action creates work across the system.

Sarah only sees one action: her account opens. Behind the scenes, POS creates the borrower experience, Communication can notify the MLO, and Sarah's basic information can be saved into CRM.

That is the platform story: one borrower action does not need to become three separate manual tasks.

Inside POS, Sarah moves through the digitalized 1003-style information flow: personal information, employment, assets, loan details, real estate owned, declarations, consent and documents.

The borrower sees a clean guided process while the mortgage team receives structured application information.

E-Sign appears when the workflow needs it.

If Sarah chooses the Digital Signature option for the applicable consent and authorization documents, POS can hand the signing task to E-Sign in Essentials.

Communication then handles the email delivery to the address already used in the application.

POS can change the document request based on the employment path Sarah selected. A W-2 borrower should not see the same checklist as a self-employed borrower.

03 · MLO & team workflow

Sarah submits. The MLO already has a customer record.

After the application is submitted, the MLO can be notified and the completed application can appear under Sarah's existing CRM customer record.

Instead of creating another disconnected person record, the application adds context to the relationship that already exists.

The MLO creates the loan without starting over.

From CRM, the MLO can create a loan file in LOS using the information Sarah already provided.

The MLO or processor can then review the file, structure the loan, run credit, validate liabilities, review AUS / DU findings as applicable, work conditions and continue toward qualification.

04 · Keep the borrower connected

The borrower can still see what is happening.

As the MLO or processor changes the loan status internally, Sarah's borrower portal can reflect the progress. Communication can also keep her informed by email or notification.

Sarah receives the result where she already is.

Once the team reaches the appropriate stage, a pre-approval can be prepared through the loan workflow and delivered back into the borrower experience and through email.

The journey began with a simple Frontline link. By this point, pricing, application, CRM and LOS have all contributed without asking Sarah to understand where one product ends and another begins.

The business around the borrower

Marketing starts the opportunity. HR supports the team behind it.

Marketing can create the first borrower touchpoint, as it did for Sarah. HR operates at a different level, supporting the processors, MLOAs and other people working behind the mortgage journey.

Marketing creates the first reason to engage.

In Sarah's example, a homebuyer campaign is the first touchpoint. Campaigns and outreach can move interested prospects into Frontline, CRM or another approved entry path.

HR supports the people doing the work.

Processors, MLOAs and other staff sit behind the borrower journey. HR gives the broker a separate operational place for workforce and performance records.
